Railways has launched free Wi-Fi service at New Delhi Railway station.This service gives free access to Internet for 30 minutes and after that,the person can buy coupons costing Rs 25 for 30 minutes and Rs 35 for 1 hours.

Recently I happened to be at New Delhi Railway station and used the Wi-Fi.This service gives speed of 1 Mbps.I used it on my Moto G smartphone and here are the steps to use access free Wi-Fi at the station :

With Xiaomi entering the already competitive market in India,it has posed a threat to Indian companies like Micromax,Xolo,Karbonn and also MNCs like Samsung,Motorola.

In a launch event on 15th July at The Lodhi Hotel, Lodhi Road, Delhi,Xiaomi launched three devices for the Indian market : Mi 3 for Rs 13999, Redmi 1S for Rs 6999 and Redmi Note for Rs 9999.

While Mi3 has been listed on Flipkart,Redmi 1S and Redmi Note will go on sale on Flipkart in August.Mi 3 is available to register from 15th to 21st July and it will be on sale from 22nd July.You can register for it here.

The wait has ended for the Xiaomi Mi 3 to be listed on Flipkart.Xiaomi has launched Mi3 for Rs 13999 only on Flipkart instead of previously announced price of Rs 14999.

Though the Mi 3 has been listed on Flipkart,the phone will go on sale at 12 AM midnight on 22nd July.But you will have to register first between 15th July and 21st July on this page on Flipkart.

Xiaomi Mi3 to be Sold Exclusively on Flipkart

After exclusive partnership with Motorola for Moto G, Moto X and Moto E, Flipkart is all set to launch Xiaomi Mi3 for Rs 13999.

Neither Flipkart nor Xiaomi India has confirmed about this,but after two teaser posters by Flipkart on social networks,it is sure that Flipkart is going to be the exclusive seller for Xiaomi Mi3.

Till now,there is no time mentioned for launch of Mi3 on Flipkart.Probably it will be done after the launch event of Mi3 to be held on 15th July at The Lodhi Hotel, Lodhi Road, Delhi.

According to the invite, company bigshots Hugo Barra, Vice President and Bin Lin, Co-Founder and President, are both going to be attending the event. Also, Jabong co-founder and now head of India operations for Xiaomi, Manu Jain, is going to be present at the launch event

After Moto G and Moto X,Motorola sent invites for May 13 which was rumoured to be the launch of Moto E,an android phone below Rs 10K.

Moto E was confirmed after its listing was seen on Indian import data website Zauba.com . Moto E will come with XT1021 (single SIM), XT1022 (dual SIM) and XT1025 (dual SIM with digital TV) model numbers.

Since the data from Zauba shows Moto E's per unit price as Rs 6330,it's price will most probably be around Rs 7999 to Rs 8999.

Moto E will be exclusively released on Flipkart since the Zauba data shows Bangalore as the import city just like it was in the case of Moto G and Moto X .

Also the shipment of Moto E phones contained all white colour phones.

Nokia Lumia 520 Saves Police Officer from Bullet in Brazil

Recently in Sao Paulo in Brazil,Nokia Lumia 520 saved the life of its owner.On May 1, a 24-year-old military police officer went over to his parents' house with the intention to ask his mother to wash his uniform for him.But when he reached the home,his mother and father were already taken hostages by 2 criminals.

After seeing the uniform of police officer,one suspect made ​​two shots. One of the shots hit the buttocks of the police, but he was not hurt, because the phone,Nokia Lumia 520, in his pocket deflected the bullet. The Lumia 520 was destroyed as can be seen in the above image. Moto E Expected to Launch on May 13 in India; Is It Next Rs 10K Bestseller ?

After Moto G and Moto X, Motorola is all set to launch a new smartphone in India which is rumored to be Moto E.Motorola has sent invites for a launch event to be held on May 13 to the media.The invite looks like the below image and reads : ""Connect more people to the world's information and each other, and they can do great things. Introducing the next smartphone from Motorola to make these connections happen. Made to last. Priced for all."

 Motorola has not yet disclosed the information about the smartphone to be launched.But if rumours are to be believed,it would be Moto E,an entry level android smartphone.Since Moto G is around Rs 12499,the lowest price for Moto G in India,all people are not able to buy it since most people don't want to go beyond Rs 10000 for a decent smartphone.It’s the "priced for all" bit that has made the launch very suitable for India.Another simultaneous event will be held in London and its invite looks like below image :

If the rumours are to be believed,Moto E will be featuring a 4.3-inch 720p display, 5MP rear camera, dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory (with upto 32 GB expandable), and a 1,900 mAh battery. It’s said that the handset is only 6.8mm thin while the Moto G is ever-so-slightly fatter with 11.6mm of thickness.

However,the Moto E will be less powerful than its big brothers , with a dual-core 1.2GHz CPU. Both the Moto G and the Moto X contain quad-core processors.

Hopefully Motorola will stick with Qualcomm and not go to Mediatek for SOCs.

Most probably,the next smartphone will be exclusively sold on Flipkart only.

We are expecting Moto E to be priced around Rs 10000.Currently the buyers are stuck with Samsung,Micromax,Xolo and other companies in Rs 10K segment android smartphones.If priced below Rs 10K,Moto E will easily repeat what Moto G did in Rs 15K segment,even Rs 20K segment. Moto E will prove fatal to current bestsellers in below Rs 10K android smartphones like Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 S7582 ( Flipkart | Amazon | Snapdeal ) and Micromax Canvas Doodle A111 ( Flipkart | Amazon | Snapdeal ).
