Delayed Again,Moto G's India Launch Details to be Announced on Feb 5

Motorola is postponing the launch of Moto G,no matter how many Indians are waiting for it.

First said to be going to be launched in the last week of January, now Motorola says that it will announce the details for budget smartphone for the country on February 5. What the irony here is that after taking so much time for its launch, still they are announcing the dates of revealing the launch dates, not the actual launch date.

Delayed Again,Moto G's India Launch Details to be Announced on Feb 5
Moto G posted a status update on Facebook as well as Twitter which says :"Moto G launch details for India will be announced on February 5. Stay tuned!" The status has a photo with Taj Mahal on the background with Motorola symbol, national animal of India(Tiger) and national bird of India(peacock).

So you can say that the Moto G is still a long way to come in India. So don't expect Moto G in India before March.

Price will be a deciding factor. If its 8GB storage version starts from above Rs 15000 in India,it's better for Indians to go for some other mobiles or import from outside India like Moto G from Amazon.com etc.

Motorola is rumoured to officially sell its smartphone in India via e-commerce stores like Flipkart,Amazon and Snapdeal.

It's shameful that even after earning so much from India, these foreign companies put India in a back seat.We know that custom plays a role in pricing but launch dates are dependent completely on the company.

The Motorola Moto G is already available with no contract, no SIM lock and an unlockable bootloader at $179 (Rs. 11,300 approximately) for the 8GB storage model in US, while the 16GB variant is available at $199 (Rs. 12,600 approximately) since November.

What's in wrong if Indians are asking for its 8 GB version for less than Rs 15000.

Are you also waiting for Moto G in India ? What are your views on this strategy of Motorola ?What are the other options in smartphones instead of Moto G ? Share with us in comments ! We like to hear from you.
