Update : Xiaomi Mi3 is now available on Flipkart for Rs 13999.
After exclusive partnership with Motorola for Moto G, Moto X and Moto E, Flipkart is all set to launch Xiaomi Mi3 for Rs 13999.
Neither Flipkart nor Xiaomi India has confirmed about this,but after two teaser posters by Flipkart on social networks,it is sure that Flipkart is going to be the exclusive seller for Xiaomi Mi3.
Till now,there is no time mentioned for launch of Mi3 on Flipkart.Probably it will be done after the launch event of Mi3 to be held on 15th July at The Lodhi Hotel, Lodhi Road, Delhi.
According to the invite, company bigshots Hugo Barra, Vice President and Bin Lin, Co-Founder and President, are both going to be attending the event. Also, Jabong co-founder and now head of India operations for Xiaomi, Manu Jain, is going to be present at the launch event
Xiaomi has an online-only model in all countries apart from China where it has stocks for retail in brick and mortar stores.In other countries,Xiaomi used to sell their phones via their own online store.But in India,after already seeing the popularity and success of Motorola phones,it makes sense for Xiaomi to go the road already taken i.e. by selling on Flipkart.
