Xiaomi Redmi 1S Launched in India for Rs 6999

Xiaomi has launched Redmi 1S along with the much awaited Mi 3
and mid-range Redmi Note. Redmi 1S has been priced at Rs 6999 and will go for sale on Flipkart in the end of August.
Redmi 1S is an entry-level android smartphone from Xiaomi featuring a 1.6 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM and Adreno 305 GPU.It has a 4.7 inch 720p HD touchscreen display with 312 ppi pixel density.It comes with 8 GB internal memory which can be expanded upto 64 GB.The Xiaomi Redmi 1S has a 8 MP camera on the rear with LED flash that is capable of taking 1080p videos and is supported by a 1.6 MP camera on the front.The phone has a 2000mAh battery and runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with Xiaomi's MiUi layer on top.
